Submission Guidelines

The Council on International Policy welcomes unsolicited submissions for its journal, the Foreign Policy Project. Submissions should range between 700 and 1500 words. Submissions should provide a unique perspective and analysis of current international issues.

All submissions should be accompanied by a brief note describing the author’s relevant biography. It is the responsibility of the author to ensure the accuracy of their articles. Footnotes are acceptable but we prefer that references be included as hyperlinks. We assume any piece submitted to us is being offered exclusively and that no piece accepted for publication will be published elsewhere without our knowledge.

The editors at the Foreign Policy Project will read every submitted article, but due to editorial capacity, only those whose submissions will be published will be contacted. Please give the editors one week to evaluate articles before submitting them elsewhere. The Foreign Policy Project does not provide paid compensation for unsolicited submissions.

Please submit completed articles to editor(at)foreignpolicyproject.org.
